Maybe they’re beautiful on the inside.
no, i live there. they’re not.
All the ladies there — they taste like chicken.
where did you get “fried chicken” at?
It’s Fing impossible to get good fried chicken in Austin, which is suprising since its in the south, but everything around here is all… “chicken fried chicken” which is not fried chicken, but chicken fried steak substitute and both a poor substitute for chicken fried chicken and fried chicken; it pisses me off.
I want good southern fried chicken. Can you hook us up?
Thanks.
I used to live in Indiana. We said all the people there looked alike, like they came from Kentucky. Good fried chicken, though. I dunno about the girls, I was too young to find out.
Sam - if you’re in need of some fried goodness, try bb rovers. They also have incredible burgers. I don’t think they’ve got old school fried chicken, but there’s enough on the menu to keep you happy, if you’re looking for a heart attack.
If you want great fried chicken, head to Gene’s on East 11th. He’s one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet and his folks definitely know their way around the fryer.
(BTW, Gene’s fried oyster po-boy (dressed) is a transcendent experience.)
Believe it or not, Culver’s has pretty good fried chicken. I’ve only had it for lunch. You have to get there when they fry it up because they run out fast.
