MySpace Doesn’t Sexually Assault People, People Assault People

February 15, 2007 Uncategorized

Remember the big Nancy Grace-style news coverage of the 14-year old girl that was allegedly sexually assaulted by a man from Buda? (Refresher) A federal judge threw the case out this week, deciding exactly as we did back in June. “If anyone had a duty to protect [this 14-year old skank], it was her parents, not MySpace.”
The publicity hound lawyer will refile the case in California where there are even more bean-sprout eating weirdos than there are here in Austin. Maybe there he will find some whack job that believes a computer and an internet site colluded to diddle this girl.

I have to say that this type of shit makes me sick at my stomach.
Parents really need to accept responsibility for their children’s lives. Lawsuits about video games, TV shows, and now Myspace. Can parents not use wholesome values and morals to get through to their children? Damn, the IRS should allow ME to claim this skank as a dependent on MY 1040 for just hearing about this nonsense.
