Predictions - Part II
October 25, 2006 Uncategorized

Just like a week ago, now’s your chance to offer your predictions for the final tally in the Governor’s race.
Again, for a little assitance, here are all the recent polls. The eventual winner will receive their choice of the books PD mentioned.
Your prediction closest to the election will be the one that we use when determining the winner. In other words, if you’ve already made a guess, you don’t have to repeat yourself when we ask for more - we’ll just rely on your old prediction. If you want to change your guess, though, feel free.

I think the winner will have less than 35 percent and the top two may well be in the same percent:
Perry 34.30%
Bell 34.10%
Strayhorn 21%
Kinky 8%
Werner 2%
Write-ins get the remaining votes.
For now, I’m sticking with my old preidction:
Kinky 35
Perry 33
Bell 19
Strayhorn 11
Werner 2
I’m also going to predict the following: voter turnout above 40 percent.
Perry 42
Bell 27
Staryhorn 19
Kinky 10
Werner 1
Y’all really overestimate the love out there for Perry. The only people who like him are the ones on his retard blog.
Bell 33
Perry 29
Strayhorn 28.5
Kinky 9
Werner .05
Jeremy… 40% voter turnout? Hope you’re right. It won’t help Kinky like you think but it will help others I like.
Perry 38%
Bell 27%
Kinky 17%
Strayhorn 17%
Werner 1%
So far Bexar and Harris have 60 percent higher turnouts than in 2002. 40 percent overall is not an in any way unrealistic figure.
I hope not and I think turnout may well get above 40%. However, I don’t think it’ll help your boy. The comment about Hutchison and Lamar Smith was the last nail in that coffin.

Oddly enough Kinky is on MSNBC right now saying I was for the fence then I was agaisnt it. Also that the democrats will come home to him on election day. And early voting is 16% above last time and that will automatically make him governor. Yeah right.
Instead of an election, wouldn’t you much rather see a fight to the death with this group? Perry is like one of those cheap bobble head dolls you get at McDonalds and immediatly throw away. Bell sounds like an orthpedic shoe salesman and looks like Boo Radley, Strayhorn looks and sounds like an Okie Troll but at least she’s not afraid to piss people off and in a good way compared to Kinky’s: “oh, he’s pulling his finger out of his ass and smelling it again” obnoxious way.
^yes. I would like for them all to kill one another until only one remains. Then I want that person put in a box and dropped into the gulf.
Still, out of the pack, Bell’s the best. While he may be a little annoying he’s a good guy. Perry’s already proven what a shit he is, Grandma is all over the map and Kinky, as you pointed out, has a digit up his ass. As for the lesser candidates, Werner is a douche and Patriot needs to be incinerated.
Kinky: 34%
Perry: 32%
Bell: 20%
Grandma: 12
Werner: 2%
Voter turnout will hit 40%.
Jeremy, I hope you have some real work after this campaign.
Anybody that has Kinky getting more than 15 is drinking the Kool-Aid, or in this case: smelling the finger. I just don’t beleive there are that many hippies and retards voting that would get him over that, at least I pray there aren’t.
Well Anon, You seem pretty screwed up and they let you interact with the general population.
I guess anything’s possible.
Jeremy,
People get the joke, it’s funny. But they are not going into the booth and voting Kinky in.
Over the past two days of early voting, turnout is up 130 percent in Harris County, 96 percent in Bexar County, and 30 percent in Travis over where it was at this point four years ago. In Harris and Travis (Bexar’s 2002 data on this is unavailable), there are more than twice as many absentee ballots in at this point as there were four years ago.
We’re on track for a record-breakng turnout for a midterm election. A hundred billion trillion dollars says the vast majority of those unlikely voters aren’t showing up to vote for Rick Perry.
Sorry, I made a mistake earlier - early voting is up *39* percent in Travis county.
It’s early, obviously, and these numbers could drop off. But that’s not what they tend to do.

EXTRA PREDICTION: Friedman will say something to the effect of “The only reason I lost is because the big bad media actually treated me like a candidate.” If this is true, I think PD should buy me a copy of Us Weekly.
I predict that Jeremy is full of macaca.
I’m sticking with Mack Brown by a landslide, with 27% going to Jesus.
Mark it, Perry will get 75% of the absentee ballots.
