Did they rip off those Statesman ads, or is it the other way around?
I did it in an elementary school.
I did it my first year of college.
I did it barely legal.
I haven’t done it yet. I’m saving myself for the right candidate.
I did it in a fire station… added benefit of hunky firemen… I wanted to vote twice!
In an elementary school. With my mom. My dad watched.
I did it in the lobby of Jester Dorm.
I did it in a church and my mom taught me how.
I did it in a nursing home.
He was an old man and I was barely legal. He told me to trust him. I did. It didn’t work out, but I still felt good afterwards. It was worth it, just to gain the experience to know what I was doing next time around. Now whenever I do it, I have fond memories of Hubert, my first, the man who made me a voter.
My first was in a national guard armory, I admit I had no idea what I was doing and I was nervous. I fumbled a bit and was glad to be behind a big curtain because it took me a long time to finish.
