This is the most ridiculous, though not suprising, thing I’ve seen in a while.
that’s really very disappointing.
This is just Newsweek letting the rest of the shitty world know that they’re with them on the Hate America First campaign.
If we are losing Afghansistan it’s only becuase the media in this country tries their damndest to put us in the worst light possible.
Maybe the left is correct, let’s pull out of Afghanistan and Iraq and let the blood thirsty terrorists and backwards ass leaders go back to the good old days of killing anyone that doesn’t agree with them, stifling all personal freedoms, and treating women like slaves.
Then we can all go back to sleep like we were during the good old Clinton days and just pretend that nothing bad will ever happen to us.
If we leave the bad guys alone, I’m sure they’ll stop hating us and leave us alone.

OK here’s the point - - the US domestic media is so impotent, and the american public so apathetic that the only magazine content anybody will tolerate here is FLUFF. Bam.
Look here peckersmacker - we can’t put other peoples’ cards in order, especially not when things are so fucked up here at home. We can support or detract policies in other countries (economically, politically) but we can’t prosecute a wholesale hegemonic campaign against the whole world - especially if those prosecuting said campaign are uneducated DICKS that wouldn’t know their ass from good public policy, and who would invoke transparently devisive, jingoistic rhetoric at every turn. THAT’s the fucking point.
The domestic media isn’t impotent, for pete’s sake - but it’s not strong enough to lose an entire war against two countries (and counting) all by itself, either.
WTF are you kidding? The domestic media is a joke. Have you watched network or cable news lately? Picked up a national daily newspaper lately? Seen a white house press conference lately? The domestic media are a bunch of moron corporate sycophants. All they care about is entertainment and advertising. Give me a break.
