I think you’ve got a good amendment
Funny how much we’ve heard that tonight. Honestly, we don’t know if these folks could tell a good amendment if it promised to tickle their ass with a feather. We’re currently on Amendment 44 to HB3. HB3, which will pass, despite the lip-smacking going on at the back mic. Let’s watch and see if anything is happening. It’s 8:52 p.m.
HIT REFRESH, We’re Posting for a bit.
So far tonight we’ve seen HB1 get passed, HB2 get passed and now we’re on to HB3. (Which will pass) They’re pulling down amendments and just passing the ones they have left to probably strip them out in committee and get it back on the floor quickly. How come we know all this and we don’t know diddly-shit?
Ok, y’all know I like her. But seriously, Rep. Senfronia Thompson has been at the mic all. day. long. She has been articulate, engaging, and thoughtful. Some of you really don’t like her, but I’m impressed at her stamina, her passion and look at her? She’s wearing a beautiful green suit. I love an underdog, and she’s torn into these amendments and bills with everything they deserve.

This is going to sound corny, but thanks so much for the extensive coverage. It’s really helpful to us that couldn’t be in Austin. I’m up in Dallas and the Dallas Morning News reports whatever they feel like reporting.
