SWM likes walks in the rain, looking for the right kind of girl. No pro-choice feminists need apply.
I don’t know why we had to find this out from another website, but apparently a young Republican whippersnapper in Grand Prairie is running for Congress. This by itself isn’t news, but the fact that he tried to sell dates for campaign dollars is [WorldNetDaily]. From the article:

“They say the young candidates bring in fresh ideas, and I figured why not, I’m single, and I need quite a bit of money to meet my goals for this campaign against Mr. Barton,” Dauben said in his original release. “A date with a congressional candidate at $25 is nothing compared to what major corporations wine and dine their pet politicians with.”

Now we are all about your freedom to go out and get some, but for campaign dollars? Not so much.
Too, too funny. If you’re interested, here’s Mr. Dauben’s “official” website and his MySpace page.
He has since stopped the offer. Sorry, ladies!

$25? Sorry, he’s not that cute. And I love his tirades about financial independence. And then he says he has raised/spent a little over $5,000, $4000 of which came from Mom and Dad. Typical.

I like that he is against gay marriage, but he is in favor of private contracts, specifically that he should be able to not have to deal with gay people. What a nut.

Hilarious! I am surprised it took so long for anyone to hear about this…LOL He thinks running against Joe as a Republican instead of the Libertarian he is gives him “political credibility”…I am not sure where the dates for dollars scheme factors into it!
